You have chosen your university to attend in your distance learning program and are excited to be a student again for the first time a long time. Relax, breathe and just follow the process to get your online degree.

Registration
Registering for a course online is much easier than commuting to school and wandering through the maze of confused students trying to make their schedule fit their lives. Just do it through screen after screen of information. If you get stuck, seek the help pages or FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) section to find the answer.

Your first course
Whether you are taking a course online or in person may feel uncomfortable "sitting" in class online before. Okay to feel a bit 'weird. This is a new experience for you and get used to learn this way, if you intend to complete the degree online. Pay attention and stay focused and you'll be fine. Do not hesitate to seek help from your instructor if you do not understand something.

Homework
For every hour spent online for your virtual class must spend at least five hours to study and complete your tasks and appointments. This is a good piece of time and you must re-organize your life and your family responsibilities to do so. But most family members and friends are very respectful of your goal of obtaining an online degree and will be happy to accommodate you. Find a quiet time and space to study and get to work.

Check your progress
If you are moving the same speed as by the course instructor and you feel comfortable with the basics that have made then you are probably doing well.
